Financial trading
Of all the investment and forex fields, financial spread betting is the
fastest growing to date (2006).
Starting only a few years ago the number of financial spread betting
companies has grown to double figures. It is because of this growth
that the private individual can now quite easily trade in minutes from
his kitchen table with computer at hand.
Many people will of course be worried by the term spread bet due to
the gambling suggestion of the phrase, but consider this…
When a greengrocer buys his lettuces at market in the morning is he
not in effect betting on whether he will get enough sales or whether
he will have to throw them away? Will he calculate his potential
profit or loss? Will he hedge against his lettuces by buying say more
potatoes this week as last week's sold out?
Of course he will.
It is our intention to show in this course that financial spread betting
is no more or no lose risky than many other of life's rich
opportunities.
The greengrocer pays, or should do, tax on all his profits, yet under
present laws the financial spread better does not pay tax and for this
reason alone one can see the enormous attraction to this particular
field.
Knowledge is power, and it is our intention to pass it on to you and
trust that you use it wisely.
We have tried, successfully with hope, to dispel the complexities of
the markets and present the course in the most simplistic form
without the use of fancy jargon to make us sound good.
Simple is good, simple works!
At the end of the course and the subsequent application of our
recommendations, we sincerely trust that you will be on far better
terms with your bank manager.
Part one will be concentrating on the basics with the assumption that
the reader has no prior knowledge of the markets or spread betting at
all.
Part two is simply a follow-on, detailing the more sophisticated but
not necessarily better methods of trading.
We are not financial advisers, we would not wish to be, neither are
we licensed to be.
Only ever trade or bet with money you can afford to lose and take
your time with the learning process.
Remember that sometimes the slower you move forward the quicker
you get there.
At the end of the course, for those that are interested, there's a short
test which we hope you will find useful. Answers are given at the
end.
This is not to give you some sort of certificate or accreditation to any
body as this course is information and knowledge-based.
Good luck in your trading.
