Thread: buy adwords what does that mean?

I think you'll find that they mean to go to google and 'bid' on your keywords... this service is for people who have a website and wish to increase their traffic. Basically you tell them how much you are willing to pay per visitor to your website and that is the amount you have to pay them when people click that link. The link will appear in adsense units on other people's websites that are related to yours. Hope this helps :)

P.S. You can also bid for a higher position in the search results but that is not for adwords. Personally I have never used either service since I have pretty good rankings just from SEO (search engine optimisation)

I have used google adwords. The main way is to set up some keywords which are related to your products or services. Then bid. I think it is not useful than I expected.

I do know that it can become very exspensive to use especially if your website is new an not generating that much income at the moment

Google adwords is something you use when you are doing PPC (pay per click). Babefemme explained it pretty well. All major search engines have the same thing but just call it different names. I have done a lot of study on it and used to do PPC to make money. Its not really something that you do to promote wholesale business. Its more of something you would use to make individual sales to someone, like diet pills. To do it takes a lot study, time, persistence, and cash. You can make a LOT of money with it. If you want more info on it I know a really good blog that explain every part of it, but I dont think you should waste your time with it. You should look more into SEO.
