Default eBay is really a fair auction place?

I heard that many ebay sellers join come kind of club to use faked bid to increase the auction price, for example, seller pay this club members to place bid on their auction at certain price, but not in all auction is the same person to place bid, like have 5 people to bid on all this seller auction, so this seller will not have low auction price, and seller will not lose money even if a few bid on auction. this is against the ebay agreement, but ebay can't catch these people, because they don't bid all the time, too many club member involve, different IPs, many powersellers join these club. so what can other seller do? that is not fair to sell at ebay anymore

    I agree your point.
However, here I could say that buyers are not stupid. most buyers must do the research of selling price before they bid an auction from eBay. For me, an international buyers in eBay, I will compare the price between Taiwan and seller's selling price. Once, if I found seller's price is lower, then I will set a bottom buying price. For example, Logitech cordless keyboard set costs $120 USD, the auction starts from $1. I would set my bottom price at $80 - $90 even less. Because other two things I need to concern are the shipping cost and warranty value.

Therefore, the sellers have their faked bid to increase the auction price, but not 100%, they can have real buyers to win their auctions. Also, eBay may charge the auction fee from the seller, when the auction is successfully ended. So, the sellers might lose their money, if the auction is ended with a club member.

It's very difficult to catch people willing to cheat. The question becomes how widespread it has become. Do we tarnish all of eBay for a few cheaters? Or has eBay become a host to cheaters? I still believe that it's just a few cheaters.

Of course, with millions of members, "just a few" can be quite a flood.

Actually this is easily bypassed and not monitored by Ebay that well. The buyer will simply not pay for the item. Seller files a claim in dispute with the reason that "both buyer and seller agreed not to complete the transaction" and seller final value fees are refunded, and the buyer does not receive unpaid item strike.
