What do I need to do to become LEGAL!!!
I currently operate an online buisness, buying from a few different wholesalers and reselling via my websites and ebay. I want to get all the apropriate licences and everything, not to mention be able to buy from wholesalers that require different ID's so what do I need to do!?!?
I just regestered for my FEIN so I already have that
But I think i also need to get a Resellers ID? or is this the same and the FEIN?
What else will I need?
My online buisness is growing rapidly and I need to get all this in order so I can continue to grow and do it legally.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

i don't think u need any others, u have EIN , same is Tax ID, they just need this number for them to wholesale, in fact, if ur wholesaler in different states, u don't need give them EIN, it is optional, u must provide Tax ID when u buy from local state wholesaler, they will ask for it

Ok, now, will this new company I gave my EIN to be reporting what I buy to the govt? In other words, should I make sure I keep good tract of my purchase records with them. Also how do I file at the end of the year with the EIN

yes, any purchase receipt you need to keep for record for at least 5 years, you need to file tax every 3 months or one year, u can hire an accountant to do for u.

Make sure that you also apply with your State to charge sales tax to anyone who buys from within your state (if applicable). Most states have this requirement, but check with yours if it's needed.
