Look at the name of the site. Doesn't it remind you of the 40 thieves.

I agree with ava. Almost all companies on there are scams especially for ipods. Dont even trust the trustpass members. A lot of those accounts have been hacked into lately.

rest assured, there is no legit company on alibaba.I have several friends who have contacted nearly every company listed on that site. all of them turned out to be scammers. trustpass and goldmembers mean NOTHING. my best advice would be to stay away from that site

Wow- I have my business registered on alibaba, and I am definately Not a scammer. Even so, I am registered on there as a seller, and still get over 50 emails weekly from other sellers trying to sell me the same type of goods I already deal in. One thing I have noticed is that there are a lot of emails claiming to need payment processing people in the United States. This is illegal. Do NOT agree to process payments for Anyone other than your own business.

Still- not All businesses on Alibaba are bad. There is just a lack of other good trade sites, so many people are using alibaba. A good alternative to alibaba is tradekey.com

Default even buyers can be scammers!

One more thing I forgot to mention in my post: As a seller on alibaba, I have had buyers try to scam me! One scam that happens a lot is that someone will pretend to want to buy your product, then request to pay much more than the cost, with the extra funds to be wired to them.

As with everything online- there are risks. Just be very careful about who you are dealing with!
