I answered you on another forum, also. But here goes again -
A couple of things to think about. First, it is not just price that sells goods. Even in poor Hungary, there is more than one shop selling bread, or light bulbs, or gloves, or any other product. And not every one has the lowest price.
Some may be more convenient, have nicer clerks, be cleaner inside, do more advertising, present their products in their windows in such a way to get the customers to come in and buy. There are many things that can make a sale, in addition to price. And some may have a better product, even though it costs a bit more.
You can do the same online or selling in the real world. You do not have to be the cheapest, you can be the BEST! Take those MP4s, does this cheaper guy show a picture of just the unit? Maybe you can show a picture of the unit in a box, showing it's a brand new, sealed box, not a possible returned item or a repaired piece. You don't have to say the other guys are used, you just have to say yours are not used and come in a sealed, factory fresh box.
Selling is what it's called.
And you can have a slightly different unit. Maybe yours has a speaker and his does not. Maybe you have more colors to offer.
If he is selling MP4's, sell MP3 shuffle types. That site you mentioned only shows 2 and you can get 6 colors from me, at a lower cost. Just because they are lower on one item for a few days does not make them always lower on everything.
Sell the shuffles and make more money for each unit than you will on the MP4s. Or sell ones with more GB memory.
I say it here a number of times, the easiest words to say are NO. You can convince yourself you can't sell just because one guy has a low price on one item. Hard times are everywhere. And you can't just walk away and give one guy all the MP4 business in Hungary over price.
