    Default importing from india

    Hi everyone

I need to know, I am looking to import 200 pcs of t-shirt from india. The india manufacturer quote me US $2.75 per pcs for t-shirt and does not include oem printing cost. As I am customizing the t-shirt design and label.

May I know from you guys, is this too expensive.
How am I going to get freight forwarders, from Singapore to pickup the t-shirt from india and ship to me in Singapore. Will this be cost-effective?

You can set up an account with the likes of fedex of dhl they will pick up the goods for you and then send you a bill . you will need to give box sizes and weight before you get a price .

2.75 is kinda high price for t-shirt without printing or art, but you only need 200 pcs, this is very small qty. well, you can get cheaper if import from china with better qty. boot higher quantity is cost -effective

    Hi BW

I am on start-up, only have limited capital. What is the cost of t-shirt relabeling, and printing my design in China. The t-shirt, I looking at must meet US, EU standards and size. Wha tis the gsm of the t-shirt and how is the quality.

BW is 100% accurate. That qty is very very small. I would strongly suggest that if you are in the US you should contact sources around the Yiwu region of China.
That is an area that deals in much smaller qty's than the major regions of China.

If you are after 200 of the same size shirt then I can imagine you will find someone there to pull it from an existing shirt they have. If you are requesting an OEM (not including the printing) shirt design then your set-up costs will kill you.

If you need 200 shirts of differeing sizes then you are really asking a lot of a manufacturer. If this is what you are doing I would be looking at buying an existing shirt in bulk (In the US) and then having the printing done in the US. If the design takes off as you hope THEN you contact suppliers in China to manufacture. Your costs will then go down a lot.
