C.O.D service
hi all
which company has the best COD service. collect on delivery.
i know UPS and Fedex has it. does COD secured? if you collect cashier check, does it really safe? anyone have good or bad experience on this COD service?

BW, it is safer if the buyer pays in cash after they inspect the units at the door. If they pay with cashier check, then they can stop the payment as soon as they want, before it gets cashed in. COD is also only used on transaction with orders between 5-20 units, not more then that. You will also have to check with Fedex or UPS to see what is the max amount of money they can be involved in for COD. Last I heard, UPS had a $3,000 max, but I may be wrong.

COD is not safe at all. UPS does only protect their client with 3 years business with them, Fedex only take cashier check or check, really nothing insured. well, guess COD is not an option for starting trade

FEDEX has the best COD service. They charge like $7
but you get your check overnight. Plus their COD is much more secure than other services.
I suggest you never do business COD with a company you never done business with. WIRE ONLY the first time. or Order a sample from a company, and always ask for references and Company information so that you can verify if they are legit and have goo track record.
