    Hello Gamer Paradise,

Yes it can be done. It all depends on what you call legitimate. Many of the people that you and I communicate with on these forums are under the impression that they are legitimate wholesalers, brokers and suppliers of sorts. The reality is that althought they may actually have authentic prooducts to offer you, much of what has been done to bring that product to market is unknown and therefore makes it circumspect. Sometimes it may not even have a real actionable warranty even though it may have been produced by the actual commisioned/authorized manufacturer.

So let's look at it this way. If you want to buy legit products how woud you go about getting it. First you have to understand branding and brands. Sometimes an item may be sold under many differnt brand or label names but is actaually the same identical item. once you have determined whos brnd it is tht you want you then contqct the brandname company. Ask them where you may buy thier products. They will gladly inform you of their distributors if you meet thier qualifications.

There you now know how to go about getting "completely" legitimate goods.

Now back to the reality of commerce. Many people, (maybe not you) are not of the ilk to buy appropriate quantities to support becoming a wholesale buyer or reseller for a particular item. Lets use XBOX 360 as an example. many buyers only need 5, 10 maybe even 1000 pieces of this system. So we have allready tried to buy the systems from the brand or original manufacturer but they require much higher qty's than we are able to purchase or we are middlemen tring to source for a client who will pay but dont want to reveal our source. So we goto a forum and start posting inquiries. We get replies from others who may or may not have stock offering you what you want. First of all if they are not an authorized reseller or retail outlet there product is suspect becouse you dont know its history, Period. You are probaly think how is this possible i see so manyv peolpe advertising that they have product to sell. Look at it this way. How in the world could a guy sell you X amount of units at a price close to or less than the manufacturers authorized dealers? Answer: the goods are inferior quality, have no actionabe manufacturer backed warranties or are stolen, salvaged and or remanufactured and represented as new.

Most items in the tech or consumer electronics market are tightly controlled. MAnufacturers want to control the supply therefore effecting the demand for thier products to maintain a high return for thier invenstment If the market for thier goods is saturted than competion abounds and profits shrink. If they control how exclusive something is then they can control its price. Apple is a good example. All retail outlets are required to sell at the identical price point in their market. Period!!!!!!! thier profit from each ipod sale is miniscule. Maybe 5-10 dollars per piece. This is relitively low but because you wont see new authentic ipods at your local corner convienient store consumers will have to buy from larger retail outlest so the volume of sales makes up for the smaller margins. Also the gigantic number of accessories that are available for the apple products creates a lot more revenue than the ipods. And the retailer can set thier own particular price for the accessories and display oher OEM branded goods near the name brand product.

So in the end if you want games systems call the sompany who makes the system and they willtell you were to go look But for speed here are the names of the real authorized distributors in the USA and international fields.

Navarre, C&H Distribution, Jack of All Games, Ingram Entertainment.

Thye have it all. They will dropship and they will take warranty returns and will notify you of recalls and handle logistics of those recalls. They do it all.

Get a resale certificate from your state and become a legitimate business yourself and they will gladly welcome your business.

I hope i did nnot rant on too much. Furthermore if anyone objects to anything I have said in this listing please let me know Im not perfect and this posting is just a statement gleaned from my more than 15 years in the private sector working with products lines as diverse as PC processors to Womens underwear. Automobile importation to governemnt seizure auctions. I have been into many dark deep holes in the wall to brightly lit well established wholesaler warehouses to find goods.
