I Want To Start Buying From China.
Hi All, I am new to this importing game, and to this site!! Can anyone help me please? I want to start importing designer clothes, e.g. jeans, jackets, shoes, etc, etc. It's a bit of a minefield out there and obviously I don't want to be ripped off. Is China the best place? If so, does anyone know of any good reputable companies I could try? If not China, where would the best place be to import from? I have emailed a company called efashions, but after reading some threads I now know that they only deal in fakes, I want originals really.

I can tell you in china there are many garment factory and shoes factory. The qualtiy is excellent. I was a garment senior merchandiser three months ago

Yes,they are many garments in China,if you want import from China,you should consider something as follows:First,how much?Because differents quality have different price,if you want to buy a valued clothes,you can consider the famous brand,for example,the S-Deer...the SanSan,the Hongdou,you can view there website and contact them directly.
The sencond,find a real manufacture.

most closthing from china are good quality, but most brand clothing and shoes are fake but the quality also very good , especially some call 1:1 shoes or 1:1 handbag they just like the realone ,many guys sell them on ebay as original lol
if you dealing with china wholesaler you'd better use escrow payment such as paypal it is better way to avoid to be ripped off good luck for your start up

Yeah, China is the best place for you to import such goods, but you must take care your money before you want to send to scammer.
