Thread: Intro

This is conjan. I am writing from Slidell Louisiana, just north of the New Orleans area. Yes, we are still recovering from Hurricane Katrina. I can tell you the news media does not and can not show the complete devastation. Even six months later. It is mindboggling. We now think in terms of pre-katrina and post-katrina. I was more fortunate than some of my neighbors. I only had minimal flood damage and very little windstorm. It's a scary thought that the storm surge stopped 1/2 mile from my house and I live over six miles from Lake Pontchartrain.

In June 2004, I was diagnosed with a bone marrow disorder and am waiting a bone marrow transplant. This leaves me plenty of time to waste online. I guess I am now a serial internet and network marketing junkie. I have dabbled on ebay but like most finding a reliable source for saleable products has been a nightmare. I haven't fallen for some of the scams, I've leaped right in a few of them. Losing the money hurts but I take the lessons learned to heart.

I still think ebay can be a profitable avenue with the right products. I have made money with some specialized equipment I have sold along with some superbowl tickets, art work, etc. I recently acquired some freeware that lets you search ebay for the hot items (posts that have whatever # of bids that you want to plug in; it's defaulted at 20 bids). Works pretty good if anyone is interested in having a copy, please email and mention Business Wholesale. I have vowed though to stay away from any company that charges you to become a member and am in the process of sourcing my own products yet to be determined.
