for most supplier, there is no problem. But if they are your new supplier, you had better use other methods.
Western Union is safe for the seller

paypal i suggest
Western Union is good for sending money to your family member away at school. Or to pay bail to get your drunk uncle out of jail.
Use it to send money to someone you know. Do not use it to send money to strangers.
Western Union is the favorite payment method of crooks and scammers. Before sending money by Western Union stop and ask yourself "How will I feel if I never see this again and never get anything in return for it?"
If you feel like you can just throw it away, and won't miss it if it is taken and you get nothing for it, then go ahead. Or, better yet, instead of sending that money to a crook, just send it to me. At least you'll have some idea of who you are sending it to. :)
if i were you, i would order a small amount first. if the seller is a trustworthy guy, i will order more at a time.
This is not safe. Many people will place a sample order, than one or two larger orders, maybe $ 200 or $ 500 and get their goods.
Then they feel safe and place an order for $ 2500 or more and never see the goods or get a reply to their email.
Be very careful with Western Union. Period.
.
And I think WU is better than PayPal.
does noone just use a bank transfer?
imo i think its better than using online payments as A you have all the details where the money has gone bank number sellers street address phone number etc?b is also cheaper than using paypal etc
imo id of thought it was safer anyone else got views on this?
Some of what you say is true.
But, just like WU, when it's gone, it's gone. There is no recourse, no chargeback.
yeah understand what you say but least you have the sellers account number home address etc surely police can do something is someone was to get ripped off with all the details?
