gtronics,
I understand that if you do a chargeback on your credit card (thru CC issuer)for that purchase, paypal would limit your account. But have you ever checked with yoyu credit card comapny to figure out the possibilities?

PAYPAL is no GOOD for nobody
Hello Golectronics, PAYPAL kept telling us to fill in their online form for not receiving the goods as described, they did this for around 2 months or so and we kept filling in those forms and they stated Investigation is in process, unfortunately we were too late to file a charge back with our bank as we though PAYPAL would settle in our favour 100% and our bank has stated also that PAYPAL has been wasting time telling us that an investigation is in process when clearly they knew what they were doing so we would not be able to do a charge back..
Our bank recommends never to deal with PAYPAL..
thanks.

Sorry to hear that. Paypal has limited my account twice and froze it once (although I restored it after 3 weeks by sending all documents); so my experience with Paypal is never use it for large transactions of more than $1000 whether it be buy or sell. Unlike what they say about buyer and seller protection policy, if you are really scammed, they won't do much for you.

I just cant understand this:
Since paypal does not release the money for their client only after few months, why wouldnt they hold the payment amount untill the transaction is complete??? then everyone will be happy!
This is as easy as a b c...
Do paypal realy care about their client or not????? big question....

Just a quick note from my thoughts after reading this -
PayPal is horrible for big transactions. We try to stay away from it always. If your dealing in larger or large quantities and sums of money, use escrow or TT. All buyers want protection AND so do the sellers. We have had an incident where the buyer told escrow service they did not get their goods. Alot of scamming going on. After two weeks we finally got our money. We are always getting questions about business from weary new buyers. I always tell new buyers to buy small and work up their trust in companies they purchase from.

Paypal is horrible. I lost over $4500 on paypal. They found in my favor but they said we are sorry we could not recover the funds for this transaction. I am trying to work with the FBI to see what i can do about it.
Paypal is no friend to online buyers.
In fact, the company's terms of service even states "(PayPal) does not ensure the quality, safety, or legality of the merchandise received, nor that the seller will even ship the merchandise."
Paypal does not care about the customer or the business. They only care about themselves
Paypal will shut you down at a moments notice for transfering to much money at one time to your bank, If the person you delt with was risky they assume you are too, if the person you did business with scammed someone or did something to someone they will assume you are part of it. and a million other reasons.
Paypal is a ,marketplace for scammers. People know how to get around the system. They will let you buy something and then they send you a package with tracking and signature delievery. You sign for it and find out its not at all what you thought it was but your stuck now because they have a tracking # to prove to paypal they sent it.
I have had the same issues with merchant accounts. NEVER use pipeline data or credit card service interntaional. GO e merchant was another one thats bad. best payment service.
WE use to sell computers. and i tried several different places for merchant accounts. Well we sold mac computers with high end software. So they tended to be more expensive then your $400 knock off at wal mart. I would do good for awhile and boom they shut me down because they said i was out of my normal selling range and my first few transactions were high.
I told them i was selling computers and if they wanted to verify who i sold to call the owner of the CC. They did and still told me i had to ship all product before being paid. I cant do that it was over $15000 in merchandise and i did not have that much money.
Merchant companies are a little less strict if you are retail but when you are internet they are crazy tight. They even told me once that when i signed up i stated my average transaction and my highest and then my monthly average. If at any time i went over that they would have to freeze funds and verify things.
I gave up and started using google but they will do the same thing if you get to many transactions in a short time period unless you have an established history with them and even then they still can.
There has to be a way to take credit cards without so much hassle

As to the payment methods, our online shop wwwhsshoppingcom, we do not accept PAYPAL because it's not convenience for chinese especially running wholesale business. But we offer other payment methods for your choice. In my opinion, credit card would be very safe and convenience.
