Thread: Is there any risk using L/C or escrow.com ?

escrow.com is perfect for domestic trade in USA. rememember only escrow.com ,they are the only company recommend use on eBay also, don't use other escrow service, many are scammed. L/C also good for import export within bank to bank

Hey all, can anyone tell us why a seller would not want to provide any pictures of their stock even if they MARK them all over with their name when they say they have the stock right there PHYSICAL ? We are trying to deal with a seller but they provided pictures of the stock without any name on paper to proove it is there - so the pictures just showed ipods around 15 units but we all know we can get these on the NET all day long,

The sellers payment method is ESCROW.COM but we are puzzled why they will not provide any pictures with an actual name on paper and date, They say we will use them for our own purpose to SCAM, but we told seller to MARK the pictures all over digitally so we cannot use them..

ANY IDEAS on why this seller would refuse our request ..? Is there something not right about it ? THANKS.

because they are broker, they don't have stock. that is very possible. take it all in your own risk.

They will accept Western Union or T/T at the end of deal :D

don't ever use Western union or T/T for your starting trade.

As a buyer escrow is great. But as a seller, i have head stories such as:

The supplier sends the buyer 50 items via escrow. The buyer gets the shipment, informs escrow the shipment was of fakes and replaces the suppliers authentic goods with fake the buyer has purchased seperatley for a 10th of the price and returns them to the supplier and escrow refunds the buyer the money + the buyer has now has 50 real items.

In this case i heard of, it was dealing with sony PSP's. This is the only case i have ever heard of. I am not totaly sure if the supplier was ever got the PSP's back. If anyone knows the site that had this store please send me a link. i remember reading in a long while ago.

yes, this happen, that is why our site now planning for BW escrow service. we do a both way check, although this may cost more on shipping, but is more secure, there is no way buyer and seller cheat on the transection. Please be careful,the seller your mentioned is not a directly seller,not the manufactory...
It will be better to deal with the manufactory directly, you can get the better price,service and timely shipment.

follow up the procdure , and learn to comfirm everything you done is ok , i think both of these method are safe. thanks
