if you are looking for more potential customers, here's some suggestions that you may consider doing them

    1) consider placing some advertising for your company
    2) if you have a business website, consider exchanging links with other websites, this might drive some traffic to your website and some of them may turns out to be your potential buyer
    3) Join some business forums/ groups
4 ) depending on the type of business you are dealing with, sometimes ,cold calling is neccessary.

It depends on what market you are in honestly. You need to see what your competition is doing and maybe trying a different approach. Web marketing can be very expensive if you want to see some good long term results. Beware of web marketing companies that guarantee you tons of traffic inside of a month, it simply does not happen. Most of these web marketing companies won’t even advertise your site in the right places, they just want to show you a link and take your money. It takes a while on the internet to get a productive marketing campaign producing good results. If you have a good profit margin then you may consider breaking off a piece of the pie and giving it to affiliates to market your products for you. Affiliate Marketing can really drive a lot of sales in pretty quick and sometimes even maintain a steady flow. All you would have to do is market your affiliate program in affiliate forums, newsgroups, and ezines. If a few good marketers pick it up they can make you a lot of sales, but the price of this that you risk putting your company name in the hands of a lot of beginners.

A little advise from me, from my marketing history, people use the internet mainly for information and entertainment. Provide good informative content all over the web about your products with links to your site and it will raise your popularity. Pay to put your banners on the front page of very popular entertainment sites similar to your target market and place ads in huge ezines related to your target audience.
