It may not be the wholesalers charging you outrageous shipping fees, it may simply be the cost of shipping to Canada. We stopped shipping out of the US because the shipping costs were so high that taking Canadian orders became a waste of time. We'd take the time to pack the merchandise and weigh it to calculate actual shipping costs only to have the customer cancel the order because the shipping costs were high. A few of our Canadian customers found a way around the problem by getting a shipping address in a US town near the Canadian border and having their orders shipped there. Several businesses grouped together and took turns picking up the merchandise.
